Our Mission

The Black Voter Outreach Network of Pennsylvania is a coalition of Black Organizations, Churches, Alumni Associations, Voters, and Business Owners dedicated to empowering Black residents by increasing voter registration and turnout. One day, we look to endorse candidates who champion our community's interests and ensure that Black voices are heard in every election. Our immediate goal is to register 10,000 new Black voters by the November 2024 Election. We are committed to the election of candidates who will advocate for policies that benefit the Black community.

Goals 

Main Goal: We are urgently looking to increase voter registration and turnout among Black residents in Pennsylvania, and support the election of candidates who advocate for policies benefiting the Black community, with an immediate goal of registering 10,000 new Black voters by the next election cycle.

Objectives:

  • Increase Voter Registration:

    • Register 10,000 new Black voters by the 2024 November election.

    • Organize 50 voter registration drives in key areas.

  • Endorse and Support Candidates:

    • Identify and endorse candidates who align with the coalition's mission.

    • Host 10 candidate forums and town hall meetings.

  • Educate and Empower Voters:

    • Conduct 20 educational workshops on voting rights and the importance of civic engagement.

    • Distribute 5,000 informational brochures and materials.

  • Community Engagement:

    • Partner with at least 20 local organizations and businesses.

    • Recruit and train 200 volunteers for outreach efforts.
