Our origin story is rooted in the mission to address the underrepresentation of Black people in PA. Every word, every action, is dedicated to increasing voter registration to ensure that the interests of Black residents are represented. We celebrate the accolades we've received, but our true recognition comes from the impact we make.
Vision
We envision a Pennsylvania where economic empowerment for African Americans leads to equity in employment, homeownership, business ownership, and wealth creation. By leveraging the collective power of Black voters and allies, we will foster a political landscape where Black needs and voices are prioritized, ensuring a brighter, more prosperous future for all.
Who We Are
The Black Voter Outreach Network of PA is a coalition of community members—including churches, voters, organizations, business owners, Black alumni associations, and allies—united to address Black underemployment and unemployment. While our core focus is economic empowerment, we collaborate with elected officials, nonprofits, and community stakeholders to address broader wealth inequality issues, such as homeownership and business ownership, for the benefit of Black Pennsylvanians.
